Rilvus The Stubborn Town

Rilvus is a ghost town on a small island near the coast of Lindana. Once a bustling small community with regular ferries to the mainland it is now a deserted place.

It was founded as a fishing town originally but soon became connected and closesly linked to Lindana acting as a suburb. After the Second Human – Elven War and the Treaty, it was now an illegal place to settle for humans. Nonetheless, the people of the town refused to resettle and Lindana integrated it as an official part of the city.

Tensions between Remia and Sileth were high because of a few islands the humans didn't want to move away from, even though the elves kept their part of the treaty.

Neither parties wanted to risk another war over these tiny islands, so the status quo was kept up for another 47 years until The Dragon's Divorce happened and Lindana saw itself independent for a brief period.

Out of fear of elven retribution now that they couldn't defend the island anymore, they signed an evacuation order and all the citizens of Rilvus had to move to the mainland.

Some sources speculate on why Lindana rejoined the newly founded Kingdom of Remia with many of them stating the weakness and loss of its loss of its Island terretories as a reason, while others suspect corruption being the main culprit.

Nowadays Rilvus is an official part of the Protectorate of Sileth and some elves moved in on the island and it becaem known as Il'va.
